The Holy Spirit comes from the love of the Father and Son. The entire Trinity is at work in our faith community.

The Holy Spirit

The Dove is semi-transparent because the Holy Spirit lets the action of the Father and Son show through to us and flow through to us.

The Trinity is constantly working miracles in our lives and penetrating everything we do.

God constantly calls us to immerse in his grace as at our first baptism.

Gifts of the Holy Spirit (for ourselves)

The sanctifying gifts are for our own sanctification:

Wisdom, Understanding, Counsel,
Fortitude, Knowledge, Piety, and Fear of the Lord. (Isaiah 11:2)

Gifts of the Holy Spirit (for others)

The charismatic gifts are to help others:

Utterances of Windom & Knowledge, Faith, Healing, Prophecy, Discerning of spirits, Speaking in tongues, and Interpretation of tongues.             (1 Corinthians 12:4-10)

With our baptism comes a call to evangelize, to spread the Good News we have received. At Pentecost, Tongues of Fire were visible over the Apostles.

Grace & Gifts of the Holy Spirit change to meet our needs

The rays and water change in appearance as we change our viewing angle and time of day, just as the Gifts and God’s Grace seem to adapt to our changing needs.

His grace keeps pace with whatever we face!
