Istrouma Baptist Church Baton Rouge, LA

Baptistery window from old church (5 1/2 ' x 8 1/2')

was refurbished and relocated to the lobby area of

the new sanctuary. Back-lighting designed and

executed by Tooley Art Glass Studio. Two dimmer

circuits permit varying the lighting emphasis.

Completed in July 2005.

Woman's Hospital Chapel Baton Rouge, LA

Back-lighted window-wall of totally interior chapel

room is 8' x 11'. Design was new work by

Tooley Art Glass Studio to present an uplifting but

non-denominational image. One section hinges

to wall permitting the other five sections to independently

slide horizontally for lamp maintenance access.

Completed in 1986.

Properly back-lighting an art glass window is both science & art. We do both successfully.
